                      Central Virginia's, Monticello & Shenandoah Valley AVA's

Our base was a Hampton Inn, in Charlottesville. Although it rained every day it never slowed us down. After touring Jefferson's Monticello we criss crossed the Blue Ridge mountains seeking out 12 special wineries. In the evenings we dined at a ecletic group of restaurants. Steakhouse, Mexican, Seafood, Spanish, French. Plus a pig roast with a band and fireworks held at a winery. Also a number of pool parties.
