Justin Isosceles Vertical

The finest Meritage in Paso Robles, possibly all of the Central Valley. Justin Vineyard's, top of the line Isosceles.

Vintages to include: 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010

Since the Isosceles is a Meritage in the style of a Left Bank Bordeaux, we will also sample 2010 Justin's "Justification", a Meritage, made in the style of the Right Bank Bordeaux.

Plus the great 2005, a double magnum. Signed by the owners Justin and Deborah Baldwin.

160 acre vineyard, established by Justin Baldwin in 1981.

Wines still made by their famous winemaker, Scott Shirley.

Later the bottle to be raffled off. Bottle won by Lisa Cantrell.

A great tasting with fifteen friends. No bad bottles in the group. The 2001 was still holding up well. The overall favorite was the 2009 followed by the 2010. Best nose was the 2010 Justiication. As expected the 2005 in the 3 litre bottle was completely different from the single bottle.

California style delicacies, prepared by Valerie.
