A never to be repeated tasting of mature Bordeaux. Seven of these wines are listed on the prestigious 1855 official Bordeaux classification. Including 2 first growths, 2 second growths, 1 third growth, 1 fourth growth and 1 fifth growth. Added extra, a 1st growth Sauternes, for dessert. Over $2,500 worth of wines. Total of 15 bottles. Most are no longer available. For many, this could be their only chance to taste a First Growth Bordeaux. Since the new ones retail for over $1,000 each.
Some Bordeaux favorites prepared in a classic Bordelaise sauce by Valerie.
As usual tasting will be held at my house. Limited to 16 people.
If you reserve a seat, and you cancel within two weeks of the tasting, you will still be responsible for the cost. Unless we have people on the wait list, who can take your place.
